Step 1: Raw Material Selection & Testing

Every raw material at Alpha Concrete — 20mm and 10mm aggregate, manufactured sand, cement (OPC 53/PPC), GGBS, fly ash, and admixtures — is tested before use. Aggregate grading, sand fineness modulus, cement strength testing, and admixture compatibility checks ensure the input quality that makes consistent output possible.

Raw Materials

Step 2: Moisture Monitoring

Aggregate moisture is the variable that most RMC plants ignore and most quality problems trace back to. Alpha uses moisture sensors in aggregate bins. Before every batch, real-time moisture readings are fed into the mix calculation — the free water is adjusted automatically to maintain the target water-cement ratio regardless of stock condition.

Step 3: Mix Design Finalization

Our mix designs are not generic IS 10262 templates. They are engineered for our specific aggregate sources, cement brands, and production conditions — and validated by trial mixes before any grade goes into live production. Our founder personally supervised mix design finalization for our entire grade range from M10 to M60, SCC, and temperature-controlled concrete.

Step 4: Batching & Quality Control

Batching is automated through our plant management system. Each batch is recorded with timestamp, mix quantities, plant ID, and operator. Slump testing is performed at the plant before dispatch. Cube specimens are cast per IS standards and tested at 7 and 28 days — results logged against the delivery batch number.

Step 5: Temperature Management

For summer pours and temperature-controlled mixes, Alpha's system monitors ambient temperature, aggregate temperature, and concrete discharge temperature before dispatch. Chilled water and ice addition protocols are triggered automatically when thresholds are approached. No concrete leaves the plant above the permitted discharge temperature.

Delivery

Step 6: Dispatch & Logistics

Dispatch is planned around your pour slot — not our schedule. Our 8–10 cum TM fleet is pre-positioned based on the day's order map. Transit time from plant to site is monitored, and drum rotation during transit maintains concrete workability. Pumps and boom placers are dispatched in coordination with TM arrival.

Delivery

Step 7: Digital Documentation

On delivery, a digital challan is issued capturing: grade, volume, vehicle, batch number, dispatch time, and site engineer confirmation. Invoices are generated within 30 minutes of delivery confirmation. Cube test results are added to the delivery record when available — giving you a complete quality file per pour.
